  • How much alcohol is in Spoonable Spirits?
    Spoonable Spirits treats are up to 5% alcohol by volume  and may only be consumed by those 21+ years of age. As with any product that contains alcohol: (i) women should not consume alcohol during pregnancy because of the risk of birth defects, and (ii) consumption of alcohol impairs your ability to drive a car or operate machinery, and may cause health problems.
  • Do I need to be 21+ to purchase Spoonable Spirits?
    Yes, at checkout you must verify you are 21+ before placing your order. The recipient must be 21+ to receive the order. ADULT SIGNATURE REQUIRED. 
  • Do I have to refrigerate Spoonable Spirits?
    Yes. Jars contain dairy and perishable ingredients and must be refrigerated. However, they can stay on display for up to a few hours. 
  • How long will my jar last if I open it?
    The jars are not pressurized so opening the jar will not affect the amount of time it lasts. They are good for up to 2 weeks in the fridge and then the puddings can be frozen. They taste delicious frozen.
  • What is the shelf life of Spoonable Spirits?
    Each jar is sold fresh with no preservatives. They will last about 3 weeks in the refrigerator or 3 months in the freezer.
  • Are Spoonable Spirits nut-free for allergies?
    Most of our flavors are nut free, however, all jars are made in a facility with nuts and may contain traces of nuts.
  • Are Spoonable Spirits gluten free? Vegan?
    Most of our flavors contain no gluten, however, all jars are made in a facility which processes gluten and may contain traces of gluten. We currently do not have vegan flavors, but stay tuned!
  • Does Spoonable Spirits deliver via messenger to my town?
    Currently, we do messenger delivery in NYC and ship nationally via UPS or USPS. 
  • When should I order for my event?
    We suggest ordering at least 7 business days before your event. We process orders in 1-4 business days depending on order volume to our store. If you need your order delivered by a certain date please add this to the order notes AND send an email to kelli@spoonablespirits.com. We will do our best to accommodate your request. We are not responsible for carrier delays and suggest having your order arrive at least 1-2 days prior.
  • What days do you ship?
    We ship Monday through Friday via UPS and USPS. Orders are not delivered Sunday or Monday in order to avoid them being in transit over the weekend. 
  • How much does shipping cost?
    Shipping in the Northeast costs $20 and is FREE for orders $99+. It generally takes 1-2 days in transit + processing time with free ground shipping. Outside the Northeast shipping prices vary from $20-$50 depending on location and shipping speed selected. 
  • My items are missing or arrived warm or damaged. What do I do?
    If you purchased Route shipping insurance: you can file a claim with them at https://claims.route.com/. If your order is missing you will need to file a claim and police report after 5 days. If your order is damaged, you will need to submit pictures of the warm product (just pictures of the jars) and shipping box.  If you did not purchase Route, you will need to let us know your package is damaged on the same day of delivery. If your item is missing, please let us know ASAP.
  • I sent Spoonable Spirits as a gift and the recipient wasn't home to sign for it.
    Please ensure the recipient has tracking that we send to you and is home to sign for the package. If an order must be redelivered there will be a redelivery fee.
  • How does messenger delivery work?
    We will send a messenger to your home or office during the time slot selected. There must be someone 21+ of age to accept the package. The package can be left with your doorman, if necessary. If you have special delivery instructions please add them to the order notes and we will do our best to accommodate. If your order cannot be delivered, it will be canceled without refund due to the perishable nature of the product.
  • Can I customize the label on my jar?
    Yes! If you’d like custom labels, please add this to your order notes. You can e-mail artwork to kelli@spoonablespirits.com, the price starts at $30 and we require about 1 weeks advanced notice.
  • Do you have samples?
    Currently we do not offer free samples. However, if you are having a large event please contact kelli@spoonablespirits.com  and she will be happy to speak with you about placing an order, and the price of samples will be deducted from the order price.
  • Covid-19 Shipping Delays
    Carriers are currently experiencing delays with products in transit. While we are not responsible for carrier delays, please do not consume your treats if they arrive warm or spoiled because of a carrier delay. Send an email to kelli@spoonablespirits to organize a replacement order.
